Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they still look great. The laces are intact, and the leather hasn’t stretched. Thanks to the vintage look, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.

Do they feel better than other shoes?

These are the best sneakers I own. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose are just on another level. They include a built-in arch bump that adds a little height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the shine on mine? Stunning.

Are they worth it?

Yes! Just try not to pay full price. They cost a lot, so getting them with a promo is smarter. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. I went bold with sparkle, but a minimalist version would also be smart.

How do they perform over time?

Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. Nothing has torn, and the structure feels strong.
